Senior Procurement Operations Lead

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executes sourcing strategies within geographical scope for both manufacturing and non-manufacturing ensuring consistency with global Indirect category strategies. Develops negotiation strategy for local negotiations and actively leads local contract negotiations as required based on criticality or complexity.

Leads organizational change management efforts geographical area of responsibility - which includes plant locations and countries. Utilizes change management tools to ensure clarity of global procurement transformation goals and provide updates regarding the status of the changes. Serves as first point of escalation for any barriers to change that exist at the local level. Successful candidate with a NTC3 certificate with electrical as a core subject will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all plant machines and mechanical equipment.  The incumbent may at times be required to fabricate new equipment or to make modifications to existing equipment. Conducts on the spot repairs to plant and equipment and assists in other related jobs as a relief when required. Provides and arranges the necessary training to the workshop assistant. When lifting, moving or installing heavy plant equipment, the incumbent uses various rigging equipment. Ensure housekeeping is maintained within his work environment at all times. Experience with both AC and DC motors and drives. Siemens TIA experience and expertise. A degree of mechanical experience and work is needed. Minimum of 5 years experience in a electrical workshop and experience with both AC and DC motors and drives; Siemens TIA experience.

To manage all site Maintenance activities, including the annual site overhauls, within the ABR to deliver maximum OEE via a predictive and preventative maintenance policy. Identify and approve resources that meet the company SHE, quality and cost requirements to carry out maintenance & project work on the site. Provide overall project management, project engineering to capital and maintenance work including overall SHE Responsibility for all engineering contractors working on site. Manage the purchasing of Engineering spares & consumables via an external third party company. Manage and control the operation of the Engineering & Engineering consumable store. Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the organisation. Ensure constructive consulation between production and engineering.

Requirements of the role:

Quality Control and Compliance Officer
