Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their dynamic team to focus on the management of the business in the market by executing business strategies. The incumbent will need to drive the growth of the company’s market share, synergy, strategies and technologies and supporting sales team by utilizing, managing and analysing customer and market data, to achieve annual sales targets set for key products manged by area, distribution agents, customers, crops and varieties.

Ideal Requirements:

Financial Accountant/Manager

Applications invited from candidates who have a degree in Accounting and finance work experience (3 – 5 years) and exposure to manufacturing within the automotive (or similar) industry with solid knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance to IFRS.

Key Duties:

  • Manage all financial transactions of the Company (fixed assets, investments, bank, debtors, loans, creditors)

  • Review of daily transaction postings and authorisation of payments

  • Monthly preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations – report on unreconciled accounts

  • Assist in the preparation of the cash flow decisions for capital projects and investments

  • Assist in the preparation of financial studies to assess potential new business opportunities

Budgets and Forecast:

  • Annually prepare budgets (for the entire Group and by department) and longer-term forecasts (3-5 years)

  • Prepare and adjust forecast in line with areas of responsibility

  • Develop method of reporting forecast vs actuals

Management Accounting Reporting & Deadlines:

  • Standardise management reporting templates and supporting documentation

  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly & detailed quarterly Board packs (Income statement, Balance sheets and Cash Flow) with variance analysis.

  • Submit monthly management accounts to management & the Board within agreed deadlines

  • Hold monthly meetings with individual budget holder(s) to review budget vs actual expenditure

Finalisation of Annual External Audit:

  • Perform the complete year-end close process within deadlines

  • Deal with and liaise with external auditors to close out the year end audit and review the preparation of the annual financial statements for all Companies in the Group (in liaison with auditors)

  • Compliance

  • Manage – Calculate and make timeous payment of SARS payments (PAYE, SDL, UIF, IT, VAT)

  • Annual review of insurance portfolio

Successful candidate with a NTC3 certificate with electrical as a core subject will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of all plant machines and mechanical equipment.  The incumbent may at times be required to fabricate new equipment or to make modifications to existing equipment. Attends to all electrical repairs and breakdowns as they arise and advises Engineering Manager of faults to ensure that necessary adjustments are made to production and delivery schedule.  Due to the continuous production process the incumbent is required to be on a 24-hour standby and may at times be called out to assist in emergency breakdowns even when not on standby. Engineering Manager / Millwright

To manage all site Maintenance activities, including the annual site overhauls, within the ABR to deliver maximum OEE via a predictive and preventative maintenance policy. Identify and approve resources that meet the company SHE, quality and cost requirements to carry out maintenance & project work on the site. Provide overall project management, project engineering to capital and maintenance work including overall SHE Responsibility for all engineering contractors working on site. Manage the purchasing of Engineering spares & consumables via an external third party company. Manage and control the operation of the Engineering & Engineering consumable store. Quality Control and Compliance Officer
