BCom + SAICA articles with a stable career history our candidate has attained close to 10 years of experience as a Financial Accountant where he is responsible for the following functions: Draft annual financial statements for statutory reporting of entities; Prepare reconciliation of management accounts (US GAAP) to local statutory accounts (e.g. IFRS) ; Prepare tax computations for review by corporate tax department; Liaise with Auditors to ensure all queries are dealt with, and financial statements are issued timeously; Responsible for monthly accounting and reporting; Prepare and process journal entries; Responsible for month and quarter end signoffs on ledger; Supervision of all finance functions in the business cycle - purchasing and Accounts Payable, sales and Accounts Receivable, stock control, capital expenditure; Monitor cash flows and prepare forecasts; Analyse monthly revenue and expenses so they are recorded appropriately and report on variances; Ensure intercompany transactions are recorded and loan accounts reconciled monthly in accordance with company policy; Ensure compliance with company procedures.

Furthermore, he has managed all areas of Finance, worked on a cross-functional project team, and has an appreciation for the need for strong Internal Controls, having managed the Internal Control department for the same multinational, where he implemented SOX.
